facility needed for a truly relaxing lifestyle. You can
surf, spin for trout, trek the mountains or shop in modern
boutiques and large department stores.

south. Spectacular waterfalls cascade into deep gorges and
dense rainforest pierced by shafts of light, show a world
virtually untouched by man.
Taree district offers a wide range of housing choices,
because Taree is now a short three hour drive from the city
centre and is also linked to Sydney not only by road, but
also by frequent rail and air services. The housing ranges
from residential city living to beachfront homes, town houses
and villas on the river and small acreage hobby farms to
large country acres for dairying or raising beef cattle.
With the careerist “moving out” of the metropolitan
areas, places like the Manning Valley are becoming much
more sort after and affordable.
Families moving to Taree have a number of educational choices
for their children, from State primary and high schools
to Catholic primary and high schools and then further education
at Taree Technical College while the Manning Entertainment

ages.
With Several large projects in place and more in planning
