Eureka is a small eastern suburb of Ballarat with a popoulation of around 629 approximately. It is a small section of land within the larger suburb of Ballarat East.
Eureka is most notable as the site of the historic event of the Eureka Rebellion, which has national significance to Australia.
Eureka is mostly a residential area and is home to primary schools, a park & recreation area with a playground and public barbeque area, public outdoor pool and a shopping strip.
