In the 1st half of 2019 Ipswich*, which in this report includes the suburbs of Ipswich, Booval, Brassall, Bundamba, Newtown & Silkstone, recorded a median house price of $320,00 and of $220,000 for units in Q1 2019, which represented annual (Q1 2018 β Q1 2019) price softening of -1.5% and -23.5% respectively. When compared to the Ipswich* 2nd Half 2018 Research Factsheet, which reported an annual (Q3 2017 β Q3 2018) price change of 1.0% (house) and 9.8% (unit), properties have recently become more affordable in Ipswich*.
