The Bribie Island and its surrounding suburbs, namely Banksia Beach, Bellara, Bongaree, Woorim and White Patch has experienced positive growth in median price for both house and units over the past 12 months. Leading into Q3 2017, house median price recorded a double digit annual increase of 13.4% to $465,000, while unit median price increased by 11.9% to $358,000. Over the same time period (Q3 2016 – Q3 2017), house median price within the Moreton Bay LGA increased by 2.5% to $450,000, while unit median price softened by -6.8% to $326,000. This suggests that the Bribie Island and its surrounding suburbs property market is an increasingly sought after location by buyers and investors.
