Getting Silly for a Serious Cause: PRD Albury-Wodonga Raises $1,345 for Red Nose Day 2025

On Thursday, 28 August 2025, our team proudly joined thousands of Australians in getting silly for a serious cause by celebrating Red Nose Day. This annual fundraiser holds a special place in our hearts, as it raises much-needed funds for research, support services, and education programs that help save little lives and support families affected by the loss of a baby or child.
This year, with the incredible generosity of our supporters, we raised $824 through our local campaign. Even better, with Double Donation Day in place, that total was matched to reach an incredible $1,345!
Why Red Nose Day Matters
Red Nose Day is more than just wearing red and having some fun – it’s about driving awareness and supporting a cause that makes a real difference. Every dollar raised helps to:
- Fund vital research into the causes of stillbirth, SIDS, and child loss
- Provide counselling and support for grieving families
- Educate parents and carers on safe sleep practices to protect little ones
A Team Effort
Our team had plenty of laughs dressing in red and capturing some silly photos to share on the day, but the highlight was knowing that those light-hearted moments were helping contribute to such a meaningful cause.
Thank You
We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated and supported our campaign. Your contribution has helped us not only reach our fundraising goal but also double its impact thanks to matched donations.
We’re proud to continue supporting Red Nose Australia each year and look forward to making an even bigger difference in 2026.
