The Whitsunday Regional Council plans to conduct an aquatic ecosystem investigation of Cannonvale Lake

The Whitsunday Regional Council plans to conduct an aquatic ecosystem investigation of Cannonvale Lake and the nearby creek system on Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th June.

Contractors were advised for this plan to set a thorough investigation to establish a footing on the lake's environmental and social conditions and initiate a course for its future administration and preservation.

What do you expect from this investigation? First, the contractors are planning to do the following with the councils' jurisdiction:
Fish survey
Macro-invertebrate survey
Water quality sampling,
The results to be used to inform the development of a Lake Management Plan.
