The spectacular town of Broome lies 2200km North of Perth. Broome is the ideal tourist destination which sees the population swell to an impressive 45,000 or more during the Dry Season (April – October).

During the Wet Season (November – March) the population of Broome is approximately 17,000 and home to a diverse community, many of whom spend the balmy summer nights watching the spectacular storms roll in over the ocean and electrifying the sky in a stunning display of light and sound.

Broome has many attractions such as Gantheume Point, ancient dinosaur footprints, Staircase to the Moon, Sun Pictures Broome (the Worlds Oldest Picture Gardens), Shinju Matsuri and the world renowned Cable Beach. It also has a unique pioneering history and pearling industry with a very informative Museum.

There are many impressive tours such as camel rides along Cable Beach, pearl tours, whale watching, fishing & kayaking tours. And for the adventurous traveller seeing some of the most amazing country side and natural wonders of the Kimberley.

It is also home to many local artists and musicians as well as being famous for the film location of the musical Bran Nue Dae.
