Homes for Relocation

PRD Northern Rivers is proud to be appointed by the NSW Reconstruction Authority (RA) to manage the sale of homes acquired through the Resilient Homes Program.

The 20 homes that are currently marketed will be sold via public auction 16th and 17th June at Lismore Heights Sports Club. Registration is at 5pm, with the auctions commencing at 5:30pm each evening.

Lismore & Woodburn houses will be auctioned on Monday the 16th of June. Kyogle & Murwillumbah houses will be auctioned Tuesday the 17th of June.

At the auction, those who have registered will be able to bid for the homes. A pre-registration form is attached. The winning bidders will enter a contract with RA for the purchase of a home. This will include paying a deposit and agreeing to meet the conditions set out in the sale contract.

There will be no reserve price set for the auction. A deposit of 50% of the purchase price up to $1,000 is payable on auction night.

The final opportunity to inspect each home prior to the auction will be the 11th and 12th of June, and a draft contract and hygiene report are available for each property, by request.

Buyers will have up to 12 months to relocate the home from RA's land. Homes can only be moved to sites that are outside of the Priority 1, 2 & 3 level areas according to the Northern Rivers Flood Prioritisation Mapping.
