The Whitsunday Climate Change Innovation Hub has released the following climate change projections for 13 QLD regions by 2030, 2050, and 2070 on the Queensland Governments Climate Change tool -

The high emissions future signifies that everything will stay as it is
and no changes to be made in greenhouse gas emissions. But, on the other hand, a lower emissions future reduces greenhouse gas emissions and the ideal best-case scenario.
The above tool provided by the Whitsunday Climate Change Innovation Hub illustrates that by 2070 under a high emissions scenario (business as usual), our average annual temperature could be 2.6 degrees warmer - that's HOT!
Climate projections are based on the CSIRO and Bureau of Meteorology Climate Change in Australia data.
