Celebrating Local Impact: Give500 Pitch Night 2025

We recently had the privilege of attending the 2025 Give500 Pitch Night, an inspiring evening that brought together donors, partners, and community champions to celebrate the incredible projects happening across our region. It was a wonderful opportunity to see firsthand the passion, dedication, and creativity driving local community initiatives.

As proud supporters of Give500, we’re thrilled to be part of a campaign that continues to make a real difference in our community. In 2025, PRD Albury-Wodonga was recognised by Border Trust as the single largest donor, reflecting our commitment to supporting this initiative every year since it began.

This year’s winning project was the Bhutanese & Multicultural Community Farm, with Albury Wodonga Foodshare and Junction Support Services named as runners-up. Each of these organisations plays an essential role in strengthening our region, and it was inspiring to see their projects showcased on the night.

“As a team of local people, we believe it’s important to give back to the community we call home,” said Kate Stevens. “Give500 gives us a tangible way to support projects that make a real difference—local giving, for local impact.”

Looking ahead, Give500 2026 promises to grow even further, bringing together more donors, more supporters, and more projects that will positively shape our region. We’re proud to continue supporting this initiative and look forward to seeing the incredible impact it will have on our community in the years to come.

If you’d like to see more about the shortlisted projects and the Pitch Night itself, the Pitch Project Videos provide a fantastic overview of the work being done.

Together, through initiatives like Give500, we’re helping build a stronger, more connected community—one project at a time
