The PRD Port Stephens team swapped their usual corporate attire for a colourful display of NRL jerseys this week in support of Jersey Day, proudly standing together to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation.

For the PRD Port Stephens team, this cause is especially close to home. Their Property Manager Caitlin recently celebrated a life-changing moment in her own family. Her brother-in-law, Brad, received the long-awaited call that after 7.5 years on the waiting list, he was finally next in line for a kidney transplant.
“The operation was a success,” Caitlin shared, noting that while recovery is ongoing, her family is filled with relief and hope for the fresh start this gift of life has brought Brad. The team collectively held their breath alongside Caitlin and her husband’s family as they awaited news, a poignant reminder of how critical organ donation is.
The group also acknowledged the bittersweet reality behind the gift of life that for one family to receive hope, another often faces heartbreak. “It’s a devastating thought but also a powerful reminder that through this selfless act, you can change or even save someone else’s life,” the team expressed.
