PRD Port Stephens donates $12,500 to local organisation Hope Cottage!

The Vision of Hope Cottage is to provide a welcoming, supportive, inclusive and safe space for those in the Port Stephens community who are experiencing disadvantage and needing assistance.

Having hear of the great work Hope Cottage do within their own backyard PRD Port Stephens wanted to find a way to get behind their amazing efforts.

During December PRD Port Stephens opened the doors of their office to be a drop off point for donations of food, toys and personal care items to go to Hope Cottage for distribution locally to families and people in need.

"We were blown away by the generosity of our beautiful community and what they were able to contribute", General Manager Philippa Brooks said.

In addition to the physical donation PRD Port Stephens came together as a team and wanted to find a way to give more back. Together they decided that from every property that sold as part of their December auction campaign that they would donate $500 from each of these sales to Hope Cottage.

With 25 properties selling this resulted in a $12,500 donation to Hope Cottage to continue their meaningful work.
