PRD Expands Into Gunnedah, Strengthening Service Across North-West NSW.

PRD is expanding its presence in north-west New South Wales, with the successful PRD Tamworth team extending its service offering into Gunnedah to better support local property owners, buyers and investors.

Leading the expansion alongside Principal, Mark Sleiman, is Sales Agent Isabel Davis, a long-time local with deep family connections to the area, backed by the experience, resources and national reach of the wider PRD network.

"Expanding PRD Tamworth’s footprint into Gunnedah was a natural decision because it's a community we genuinely believe in," Ms Davis said.

"For me personally, it was an easy decision. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. The town and its people have always felt like home. My family has been part of the Gunnedah community for more than 35 years and being able to bring PRD into the town means I can give back to the community that has given so much to us."

Gunnedah's strong economic fundamentals, diverse industry base and tightly held property market were key factors behind the decision to establish a dedicated presence in the area. Recent PRD Research data highlights the strength of the local market, with Gunnedah's median house price reaching $580,000 in Q1 2026, representing annual growth of 22.1 per cent.

The report also found limited new housing supply in the pipeline, with only a small number of new dwellings and units planned relative to current demand, supporting confidence in the market's long-term outlook.

"Gunnedah has always been a resilient market and, as more people and investors recognise the opportunities available in the area, we believe it is well positioned for future growth," Ms Davis said.

PRD’s research found that Gunnedah recorded more than 22% annual house price growth in the year to Q1 2026, while available housing stock remains tight. That combination gives us confidence in the market's future and reinforces why now is the right time for us to expand our services into the area."

The expansion forms an important part of the broader growth strategy for the PRD Tamworth business, following the successful expansion into the Liverpool Plains market in 2025.

Principal and Director Mark Sleiman said the move would strengthen service delivery and create greater opportunities for clients across the New England and North West regions.

PRD’s findings showed the Gunnedah rental yields sitting at 4.4 per cent in March 2026, above both the Tamworth LGA average of 4.1 per cent and Sydney Metro's 2.8 per cent, highlighting the area's ongoing appeal to investors.

The expansion comes as approximately $79.8 million worth of developments are scheduled to commence construction across Gunnedah between 2025 and 2027, including commercial, infrastructure and residential projects that are expected to support economic growth throughout the region.
