New PRD Highton Mobile Agent Set to Enhance Service Delivery Across Greater Geelong
PRD is expanding in Victoria, to service the Greater Geelong area with the opening of PRD Highton. PRD Highton will be a mobile agent office, meaning that there will be no bricks and mortar office for the time being. Kim Stinton, the Sales Agent for PRD Highton says that the Mobile Agent model was what drew her to PRD.
“I chose to join PRD because I liked the mobile agent model and support structure. I’ve worked many years as a mobile agent, and have gained a reputation as the for location never being an issue. I have mostly worked on my own especially the last six years in business for myself, so I am always happy to accommodate people that trust me to be their agent. I’ve been known to drive over 4 hours a way for a listing. I see PRD as sharing that type of commitment to their network and feel that PRD will give me the right tools to be part of a team again and grow the business.”
Local Focus and Client-Centred Service
PRD Highton will focus on servicing Highton, Grovedale, Waurn Ponds, Mount Duneed, Geelong West, Bannockburn, Torquay, Lovely Banks, Batesford, Ceres, Moriac and surrounding lifestyle pockets. Kim believes she will stand out in the market with her values and service.
“I entered real estate believing that the industry had fallen in its good old-fashioned values and service and wanted that back for clients. For the past 9 years that's how I have run my career, with plenty of open communication, quick turnaround for appraisals and reports and always deliver on information when I say I will, so clients can trust that I'm there to help them in their journey. I also keep a very close eye on the market trends in different areas, always talking to local businesses and people in general. I like to know what is happening next and will be able to keep my clients well informed that suit their needs.”
Mobile Model Driving Flexibility and Growth
Kim will work as a mobile agent in the area, meaning that instead of a traditional ‘bricks and mortar’ office, she will be on the road and with clients primarily. Kim, who has worked many years as a mobile agent for her own real estate agency, says that the flexibility of a mobile agent allows the best experience for her clients.
“I think since Covid, people have been looking for more independent ways of having a great career, wanting flexibility in where you work and in time management, while still having a supportive network to help them grow. There's not a lot out there that can deliver on this, but PRD can. As a mobile agent, people have the convenience and benefit of me attending their homes, farms, work or if they like a cafe. I can offer flexibility on place and time. This is an added bonus for me because I wasn't restricted on location, and it meant I could start over back in Geelong, my home town. This flexibility helps my clients feel like the experience is all about them and that is what I'm here for, to put them number one and just to make life that little bit easier.”
PRD Managing Director, Todd Hadley, also commented on the mobile agent model PRD offers.
“Being a PRD mobile agent opens the door to a more flexible and client-centric way of working. Our model rewards initiative and independence while still giving you the backing of a trusted brand with 50 years experience, comprehensive property research and supportive network. It’s an exciting opportunity for agents who want to take control of their business.”
Strong Brand Backing and Market Opportunity
PRD Real Estate has their 50 year anniversary in March 2026, celebrating on the Gold Coast where the brand first began. This milestone for PRD helped Kim with her deicision to join, as she claims that brand stability is what current agents and principals are looking for.
“When agents or principals are looking for a franchise brand, I think first off you look at the stability of the brand, how long has it been around. Growth would also be a factor, and with PRD celebrating 50 years this year, it definitely ticks these boxes. This combined with PRD being owned by Colliers, who are also celebrating 50 years this year as well as PRD offices all over Australia, including Tasmania and then PRD's office support and the many areas of the company you can tap into, to help grow your business, were all factors for me. I feel privileged to come into this year, an important year for PRD, but for me to shape and expand PRD Highton too. I think to be part of something quite significant and sharing PRD's values and commitments is a great place to be in Real Estate.”
Kim also cited the PRD research team as another reason for joining, and confirmed that her clients would have access to the latest research from the team.
“The research team based at PRD Corporate blew me away. I was very impressed how much information PRD research covered, in every aspect. If you were a buyer, vendor or investor, the research is up to date, accurate and carefully compiled so that anyone could use this information to make their decisions in the property market.”
This research has been helpful to Kim starting her new role in the Highton area, a place where she says,
“The market is good and there’s a lot of good quality listings out there, however, I do see some listings in the higher end of the market sitting on the market a little longer than usual. Belmont is nearly on par with Highton in the amount of sales and medium price. I say most times of the year are a good time of the year to sell when it comes to Geelong. Geelong is well and truly the number one regional town outside of Melbourne that has everything, and you've only got to see the new suburbs generated and the existing towns expanding all the way to the coast, to see how people are moving away from the big city and changing up their lifestyle.”
Todd congratulated Kim and officially welcomed her to the PRD network:
“Sellers, buyers and investors in the Highton area will be impressed with Kim’s reputation for integrity, client focused service and strong market performance making her an outstanding addition to the PRD network. We are excited to see the expansion into the Geelong market as well as Kim’s continued growth within the PRD community.”
