With the support of Several Acquisitions, The Renewal Of Their Top Offices, Sales Growth & Industry Recognition

2021 has been a successful year for the national real estate brand, PRD, with 14 offices renewing their franchise agreements, 4 new locations opening, 2 internal sales, appraisals, commissions and sales year-on-year growth, and multiple REB Award wins!

Principals that opened a new office location or joined the PRD group include May Dunlop from PRD Darwin, Tenille Walters and Darryn Payne from PRD Bayside, Natalie Gray and Rychelle Kay from PRD Hobart and Mark Kentwell from PRD Coastal.

Ms Dunlop initially started her real estate career with PRD and has now come back to the group with her own office.

Ms Walters and Mr Payne re-branded from Raine & Horne to PRD in April 2021.

Ms Gray and Ms Kay have been with the PRD group for many years and recently opened their fourth office in Tasmania.

Mr Kentwell opened his third office with the franchise this year, PRD Coastal.

Former Principal of PRD Tumbarumba, Julie Giddings, has now sold the business to successor Marney Perzel who has been within PRD since 2014.

Similarly, former longstanding Principal of PRD Buninyong, Phil Crosbie, sold the business to Stu O’Brien.

Principals that have chosen to renew their long-standing agreements with the real estate group are as follows:

  • Kate Stevens and Matt Sharp from PRD PRD Albury-Wodonga;
  • Orla Jensen, Principal of PRD Ashmore;
  • Nicole Simpson, Principal of PRD Ballarat;
  • Tom Isaacs, Principal of PRD Bendigo;
  • Braiden Smith, John Fischer and Adam Van Leeuwen from PRD Burleigh Heads;
  • Damien Campbell, Principal of PRD Coffs Harbour;
  • Rhonda Nyquist and Luke Anderson, Principals of PRD Hunter Valley;
  • Robert Horder, Principal of PRD Kyogle;
  • David Inkster from PRD Norwest;
  • Michael Power from PRD Palm Beach;
  • Darren Latty, Principal of PRD Penrith;
  • Dane Queenan, Principal of PRD Port Stephens;
  • Jed Masters, Principal of PRD Tumut;
  • Simon Freemantle, Principal of PRD Wagga Wagga.

PRD Managing Director, Todd Hadley, commented “2021 has been a strong year for PRD, with several acquisitions and the renewal of our top offices.”

The network finished off the year strong, reporting year on year growth for November in appraisals (+22.18%), sales (+22.68%) and total value commission (+33.98%).

It was also another fantastic year for PRD, with several industry-leading offices and members winning awards and being named as finalists.

The REB Dealmakers 2021 ranking included 3 PRD Agents: #4 Dane Queenan from PRD Port Stephens, #9 Cathy Cattell and #16 Reece Thompson both from the PRD Hunter Valley office. Cathy Cattell also ranked #34 in REB's Top 50 Women in Real Estate for 2021.

Diversity Office of the Year (Regional) was won by PRD Tamworth in the recent REB Woman in Real Estate Awards 2021. PRD finalists included Supporting Professional of the Year, Philippa Brooks from PRD Port Stephens, BDM of the Year - Property Management, Phillipa Marshall from PRD Port Stephens, and Sales Agent of the Year (Regional) Cathy Cattell from PRD Hunter Valley.

NSW agents Mark Kentwell and Dane Queenan boasted rankings in the REBTop 50 Agents in Real Estate, ranking at #24 and #29 respectively. Mark also ranked #26 and Dane #29 in REB’s Top 100 Agents List.

The REB Awards 2021 saw Sarah Lehmann from PRD Mildura be named as a finalist for the Newcomer of the Year and Rising Stars categories, while PRD Port Stephens saw a Property Management Business Of The Year - 6 Or Less Property Managers finalist announcement.

Earlier this month, the REB Awards 2022 announced PRD as finalists in the Principal of the Year (Regional) category for Mark Sleiman of PRD Tamworth, and Mark Kentwell of PRD Newcastle & Lake Macquarie, who also was named as an Industry Thought Leader of the Year finalist. Operations Manager of the Year category finalists included Jacqui Bijnens of PRD Tamworth, and Philippa Brooks of PRD Port Stephens, and Sales Office of the Year (Regional) finalist saw PRD Newcastle & Lake Macquarie named.

Mr Hadley, said “As one of the medium-sized networks, it’s fantastic to see so many PRD professionals ranking in the top lists, being named as finalists and winning awards. It’s a testament to the hard work and dedication PRD members have.”
