Long-Standing New South Wales PRD Office Renews Franchise Agreement

Award-winning real estate office, PRD Laurieton has renewed its agreement with the leading national franchise, carrying on a 30+ year legacy.

PRD Laurieton originally joined the brand under Nationwide Realty in the 90s. A family business from its inception, current Principal Simon Hancox commenced in the business working alongside his parents in 2008, with his wife Natasha Hancox joining the business as Office Manager in 2010.

Simon went on to take over the day-to-day operation and management of the office in 2018 and this has seen him lead and mentor a successful sales team growing from strength-to-strength. This is evidenced by his and the office's award recognitions, including Simon being inducted into the PRD Hall of Fame in 2021.

When asked about some of the determining factors for renewing with PRD, Simon commented "This network (PRD and formerly Nationwide Realty) has been in mine and my family's blood for over 30 years so there really wasn't a whole lot to think about."

"The support from the corporate team is always outstanding and we have a very collaborative relationship where our feedback is not only welcomed but considered as part of our ongoing strategy."

PRD Managing Director, Todd Hadley said he was elated the long-standing office will remain with the brand. “Simon, Natasha and the Laurieton team are highly regarded in the PRD network. They are a team of strong operators and make the most of everything PRD has to offer. They truly champion the PRD brand, values and culture.”

"The PRD culture is very much one of contribution and assistance", mentioned Simon. "Knowing there is someone who has already been through a problem in the network means there is always a reliable voice when needed with sound advice. That’s really comforting. Everyone is extremely open within the network about how they operate their business, and what its successes and failings have been throughout their journey.

Finally, I should say, we also have a hell of a lot of fun at social and training events when we all go away to network and strengthen our own businesses. The PRD culture at these events is one of the things that keeps me signing my franchise agreement with ease," commented Simon.
