WHITSUNDAY E-NEWS REAL ESTATE: 3rd week of March

Welcome to another PRD Whitsunday Weekly News. I'm Dylan, and I'll be your host today.

Firstly I should acknowledge it can be a bit tough to get a rental right now. If you get a lease renewal coming up, and I'd suggest you get on that one sooner than later.
It's not impossible, but you might have to invest a bit more time and energy than you generally would secure that safe place to live.

If you bought a block of land right now, it might be tough to get a house built on it before Christmas. If you're looking to sell an existing home, this is great news because all that demand that's typically diluted by the newer builds is solely focused on existing properties.

I do expect this to sort of pivot back to land as this time frames contract, and land will get its time in the sun as people are competing for what's left.

If you consider building right now, it might not be the wrong time to look for land to build in no rush.

Additionally, apartments show some pretty promising signs as they just increased liquidity overall and some isolated price growth like we sort of saw at the start of this market cycle for homes.
